I like the ease of set up, the video excellent yet it does not work regularly and I discover this frustrating. I can not make sense of when it operates and when it does not. I don't know if it really is due to the fact my home's wiring is older or if the product is faulty. When it is working - it is fantastic. Another factor to be aware of is that it's quite tedious to get rid of video footage that you no longer want. Each tiny segment has to be deleted one piece at a time. I haven't located a way to delete massive chunks of time such as deleting one day.
When I 1st got the system and installed it, I was excited. Installation was very easy. It started proper up. It was sending me e mail alerts. I could access my cameras from the online. How cool was that
But now three months later the bloom is off the rose, and I am prepared to scrape it or send it back. It is just also unreliable. I have my program at a location that I only pay a visit to once a week. I would estimate that much less than 25% of the time does it make through an entire week with all 3 major functions (nearby recording, e mail alerts, internet viewing) all operating, all week. And it is not just a single point. It is multiples. Logitec's help system constantly has ideas but reliability never improves and the same concerns continue to repeat.
So unless you can physically access the method daily and/or are ok with components of the system going down for periods of time, I would stay away from this product.
Superb thought. Flawed execution.
