Ordered the item to use whilst traveling, for extra security in hotel rooms. I chose it over some of the other similar alarm door stops for the reason that the alarm sensitivity is adjustable and it has an on/off switch. I have not made use of it in a hotel space but but I tested it in my dwelling. It appears to function good. The alarm is Extremely loud!
